Piet is the co-founder and co-owner of Ergonomicsdirect. He qualified as
a Physiotherapist and worked clinically for several years. Since 2006 he has
been involved in various business ventures and completed his Modular MBA at the
University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. He is also a
Certified Office Ergonomics Evaluator.  

Piet’s interest in business and the medical industry resulted in his interest and involvement in the field of ergonomics. Ergonomicsdirect started out as a sideline project and has since grown into a freestanding business. Piet has a keen interest in ergonomics and the positive effect that it can have on people’s health, comfort, and productivity. Besides the substantial value ergonomics can add to employee well-being, Piet has also been inspired by the positive impact that ergonomic intervention can have on the bottom line of a business.
