Shipping
Delivery costs:
- From March 2023, Ergonomicsdirect offers free delivery on all orders of R1000 (VAT Incl.) or more.
- All orders under R1000 (Vat Incl.) will carry a standard delivery charge of R150 (VAT Incl.)
Delivery timelines:
- During weekdays, the Ergonomicsdirect team aims to process orders within 24 hours of receiving payment.
- Orders placed and paid for over a weekend or long-weekend will be processed on the first working day following the weekend.
- Delivery to main centres as well as Cape Town and surrounds normally takes around 2 – 3 working days.
- Delivery to outlying areas normally takes between 3 – 7 working days.
Delivery of chairs:
- We try to pre-assemble our ergonomic office chairs (excluding specialised chairs such as saddle, wobble and operators chairs) delivered within the Cape Town, Pretoria and Johannesburg metropoles.
- Chairs delivered to other areas will normally be boxed and will require assembly.
Our preferred courier:
- Our preferred courier will send updates via sms and or email on the progress of the order once the shipment has been booked for collection from our showroom or warehouse.
- Our preferred courier delivers most of our orders except for assembled chair deliveries within the Cape Town, Pretoria and Johannesburg metropoles. They also do not deliver orders that have been scheduled for installation.
Installation costs:
- Installation within the Cape Peninsula and Gauteng can be arranged at an additional charge.
- Larger installations can also be accommodated in bigger cities such as Durban.
- Installation costs are dependent on the products ordered and the location of the installation. Please enquire about installation costs by sending an email to info@ergonomicsdirect.co.za
Cost of returning products:
- You may be responsible for paying for the shipping costs of returning your item depending on the reason for the return.
- Initial shipping costs (when applicable on order values below R500) relating to sending the product to you are generally non-refundable. Initial shipping cost will only be refunded in certain instances. If your refund is approved, the cost of the initial shipping (if applicable) will be deducted from your refund amount.
