Warranty: All Kinesis manufactured products come with a two-year limited warranty for the original purchaser.

The Kinesis Freestyle2 keyboard is known for its innovative design, providing users with a comfortable and ergonomic typing solution.

  • Sleek, Low-Profile Design:
The keyboard has a zero-degree slope, minimizing height and creating a negative slope to reduce wrist extension. Its slim design makes it suitable for both office and travel use.
  • Accommodates a Wide Range of Individuals:
The Freestyle2 is adaptable to various body types. Both modules are initially connected by a flexible pivot tether, offering an infinite range of splay. Disconnecting the tether allows up to 9 inches of separation between the left and right keying modules, reducing ulnar deviation.
  • 2-Port 2.0 USB Hub:
The built-in 2-port USB hub enables users to easily connect other input devices, such as mice, without accessing USB ports on the computer.
  • Optional Palm Supports:
Optional padded palm supports are available to reduce wrist extension and maintain a neutral wrist position for enhanced comfort.
  • Left Side Driverless Hot-Keys:
Driverless hot-keys on the left side provide quick access to commonly used mouse actions, including Internet Page Forward and Back, Beginning of Line, End of Line, Cut, Undo, Copy, Select All, and Paste. A vertical rib offers tactile notification.
  • Top Row Driverless Hot Keys:
The top row features driverless hot keys similar to new iMac keyboards, including Esc/Force Quit, Brightness, Exposé, Dashboard, Play Audio, Audio Volume, Dock, Eject, and Off/Sleep.
  • Familiar Key Layout:
The keyboard retains a familiar key layout, minimizing adaptation time for users transitioning from other keyboards.
  • Low-Force, Tactile Key Switches:
The Freestyle2 utilizes quiet, low-force, tactile membrane key switches with an average maximum key force of 45 grams, reducing the risk of strain associated with traditional keyboards.
  • Preassembled VIP3 and V3 Versions:
For convenience, the Freestyle2 can be purchased with the VIP3 or V3 accessory pre-installed. This includes the VIP3 (KB820HMB-us) or V3 (KB830HMB-us) options for separation of 9" and under.
  • Risk Factor Mitigation:
The split-adjustable design addresses the four major keyboarding risk factors, making it an effective solution for ergonomic typing.
